Infertility Support and Discussion
Was anyone able to convince their RE to use results from a recent HSG through their gyno office? My insurance has already paid forthis test and won't pay for another ordered by the RE. If you don't mind sharing, please let me know who allowed a recent test to be used. Thanks.
Or we there other tests your RE agreed to use prior results?
How recently was the HSG completed? If it was completed in the past 3-6 months and there were no problems evident on the film, then I can't imagine it would be a problem but can't guarantee it. I had a second opinion done when I had a problem with my HSG and the films were 5-6 months old by the time I saw the new RE. He did not ask to repeat the HSG. I have to believe the same would hold true if you had films that showed no problems.
