International Travel with Wegovy

Hi!
I am traveling to Europe for 10 days, so I will have to bring two Wegovy pens with me.
Two questions if anyone has done similar travel -
1. Did you try to keep it refrigerated? The instructions say it can be left at room temp for a few weeks I believe. Have people done that without a problem?
2. Did you carry it on or put it in your checked luggage? Of course, I would rather carry on so it is not lost, but is that a problem with the needle?
Any tips appreciated!

Stretch it out. You can go 10 days in between without issues. Reset your timing so you take it right before you go.

1. It says it can go unrefrigerated for 28 days, so I’d assume it can. I’d probably put mine in a small insulated bag though.

1. I’ve haven’t flown with Wegovy yet, but I have with Imitrex injections (same auto injection system). No issue. I’d tear the label off the front of the box or get a one sentence note from your MD that you have a prescription, just to cover your bases. But you likely won’t need it.

It can be unrefrigerated for 28 days, so you are fine. FWIW, mine are never refrigerated. I pick up the rx, and inject that day or the next, amd keep the rest unrefrigerated and inject every week (so, 22 days max unrefrigerated). No one in my household knows I am taking it - this is why I so not keep it in the refrigerator

Yeah I would just inject before and after but surely you can just bring one.
