Although magnet schools are public, I would like to see the consensus on the ‘Big 3’ for non-magnet public high schools in the Washington DC metropolitan area.

| The "big 3" is a pretentious term that shouldn't be applied here. There are many good public schools in this area. |
| No such thing |
Actually, the so called big 3 are failed imitation of MoCo Ws. There is no such thing as big 3 while the Ws are real. |
| In the private school world, the Big 3 are Sidwell, GDS and STA/NCS. The OP is asking what the equivalent would be in public. |
equivalent based on ? demographics, prestige, college admissions results, test scores, academics? |
We know what OP is asking. Again NO SUCH THING. |

Cellphones, lack of discipline, unsupported admin
Big 3 reasons their are no teachers |
|
No such thing unless you are talking about the magnets which you dismissed.
But the brand recognition and prestige of the big magnets is higher than any of the privates. TJ, Blair, and maybe SWW. |
|
Social capital wise, there probably isn't an equivalent.
The magnets and top tracks at some suburban schools here have similarly-talented students though. |
Similarly talented in private? Lol |
| Are you asking for the top 3, or what schools are equivalent caliber to those 3 privates? |
This. The so called Big 3 or big 5 came about on DCUM in a way to mimic the Ws. |
|
OP is a child. What an embarrassing post.
