What makes this recipe breakfast?

I am looking forward to making this. It includes so many of my favorite flavors.

But what makes it a breakfast salad? Why couldn’t it be lunch or dinner?

How do you decide what is breakfast vs another meal?

You eat it in the morning, relatively soon after waking up

I shouldn't even comment.

I routinely have left overs or whip up a quick stir fry topped with an egg for breakfast

And breakfast foods are great latter in the day.

I do that too. But I guess in my mind I'm thinking that I'm serving regular food for breakfast. Not that it's specifically breakfast food? I was just wondering if this meal has some kind of breakfasty flavor that would make it weird to serve for lunch or dinner, probably with some modifications.

They reference brunch so maybe it's just the addition of eggs?
