Period coming. Need something familiar and comforting - think Friday Night Lights nostalgia. I also love true crime and great dramas like Mad Men and the Wire.
We have Netflix, Hulu, Disney plus, amazon prime, Apple TV, HBO Max. |

A few random suggestions...
- Nashville (Hulu) - Ginny & Georgia (Netflix) - ER (Hulu) |
Thanks! These are definitely up my alley, except for the Kaley Cuoco one (she kind of stresses me out). I found the Armie Hammer documentary on HBO, so I’m going to start with that. Very interested in Robert Wone and Casey Anthony - if I can’t find something on the services I already have, I may have to break down and get peacock! |
| Have you watched Only Murders in the Building yet? It’s excellent. |
No, I haven’t! I’m kind of turned off by the young musician/actor, but maybe I will try it next! |
It's so so good - but if you hate Selena Gomez, you might not like it. |
| I really liked On the Verge - Netflix - not new but it was the right mix of cast for me (and I'm their age so maybe it's a life stage thing too?) |
yeah she has a very monotone speaking voice |
I don’t dislike or hate her and actually like some of her music. But yes, I noticed this in her documentary - I assumed it was the meds. |
| Offspring is required viewing. You can just do seasons 1-4. But definitely stick with it if you can. I didn’t love season one but the series is on my top 5 ever list. |
| Never Have I Ever |
I don't really like Selena Gomez and her monotone but love Steve Martin and that was enough for me to like Only Murders in the Building, fwiw. |
| Saint X on Hulu |
| Based on a True Story on Peacock |
