I am a non-equity partner at a boutique law firm with a portable book of business around $1.5 million. My current firm is reorganizing such that I'll be conflicted out and am being encouraged to shop around for something new, including at law firms bigger than where I currently am. I have been out of this game for a while and have no clue where to start:
(1) What should I roughly expect to take home? How much does that vary firm to firm? (2) Would I be better suited aiming for counsel, non-equity, or equity? TIA, DCUM gurus. |
