Stopped at one this morning to grab baked goods for coworkers. Scones were not edible. Everyone commented on how dry, crappy and flavorless they were. We ended up tossing them, but was annoyed with how bad they were. Curious if this was a one-off or if others have experienced this. I don't plan to go back.
Agree - not sure what the appeal is but I feel like it's curated to appeal to the twenty-something masses? My teen daughter likes to hang out there to "study."
I think it is a Gen Z 7-11
It’s a fancy 7-11. I like that they carry kombucha and nice wine. Salty snacks.
This is hilarious. I just walked into one for the first time and couldn't figure out what it was trying to be - am I getting lunch? A sweater? Fancy Foxtrot-branded gummies? A cappuccino? I got overwhelmed and went to Sweetgreen instead!
That’s good to know. It looks nice from the outside, but I always wondered if I was missing something by passing them by.
Yeah, I don't get it. I had a colleague who used to get himself lunch there as a treat -- there was one near his house but not near our office, so he'd bring in lunch from there once a week. I thought it would be really nice, like a Dean and Deluca. It's more like a Pret a Manger? But more expensive and with more of a grocery vibe. But similar quality. Very meh.
