How are your agencies handling the OMB "reassessing work environments" memo?: https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/M-23-15.pdf
Here's an article about it: https://federalnewsnetwork.com/workforce/2023/05/ombs-return-to-office-memo-a-reset-for-federal-employees-and-their-customers/ |
| We are not assessing it. No changes since the memo. |
| We're providing stats and figures to prove that hybrid is working. |
+1 |
| Managers and above are being asked to come back to the office more frequently, bargaining unit employees are unaffected. |
|
As per usual, dead silence from upper management, I assume some day we'll get an all employees email suddenly changing policy and saying "time to come back!"
I regret making a lateral move from a bargaining unit position to a supervisory position for experience. |
| We were given a survey with more information forthcoming |
So tired of surveys. We have done so many and nothing changes... |
| Our small agency went to 3 days a week in office. |
I feel like they don't like the responses so they keep giving surveys and hoping it will change. |
The surveys are so they can tell OMB they’re monitoring the situation. Then they come back with dire figures for the numbers that will leave, and their current vacancy rate, and OMB backs off. |
