Managers and above are being asked to come back to the office more frequently, bargaining unit employees are unaffected.

As per usual, dead silence from upper management, I assume some day we'll get an all employees email suddenly changing policy and saying "time to come back!"

I regret making a lateral move from a bargaining unit position to a supervisory position for experience.

I feel like they don't like the responses so they keep giving surveys and hoping it will change.

The surveys are so they can tell OMB they’re monitoring the situation. Then they come back with dire figures for the numbers that will leave, and their current vacancy rate, and OMB backs off.
