I just started yesterday. Has anyone lost weight on 3mg? If so, how long until it started working? Did you experience any side effects? I was nervous to start since I don't like taking medicine but I'm fed up with my weight. Thanks. |
Yes I have been on r for 2 months now. I have been steadily loosing. I started on 3mg and then went up to 7. I’m down 20lbs. I’m still severely obese so starting weight probably matters. |

What are the advantages of Rebelsuy over Ozempic? |
None except you avoid injecting if that’s important to you. It’s not as effective for weight loss and the absorption rate isn’t great. You have to take it on an empty stomach and no food or more than a sip of water for it to be effective. |
here is my personal experience, fwiw.
I didn't love the idea of injections, so my doctor suggested trying rybelsus. I have not experienced trouble filling the medication like I hear people talking about with ozempic. I may have had a day or 2 wait b/c it was out of stock- but that's it. You have to take it first thing in the morning with a small sip of water, and then not eat or drink anything for 30 minutes. This was a change for me b/c I like to drink coffee as soon as I get up. I have gotten used to it now though. I do tend to feel kind of nauseous especially when I first take it- but it is manageable. When I first started on the medication, I did vomit a few times. That could have also been a combination of the medication and alcohol the night before. (I didn't drink that much- just combination issue possibly.) I have lost 20 lbs in about 2 months. I have a long way to go. I used to really struggle to leave 'tempting' food alone- e.g. a plate of donuts out for anyone. I can easily leave them now. People can eat foods in front of me and its not hard for me to ignore it. My appetite in general is cut in half, or maybe even a 1/3. I can't possibly finish like a panera salad in one sitting. |
