Do you have suggestions for cute, but comfortable for walking around on vacation, sneakers? Something that can look good with shorts but also looks cute with a casual sundress. I'm leaning towards white, but I'd consider other colors. I'm in my late 40s, maybe I'm too old for that look?

Just get some Chucks |
| Vans? |
|
Yeah, Chucks or Vans.
Keds? Rothys? |
|
White Keds are good for this, though not trendy. I have white slip-on Rothys that I wear a lot too, love how easy they are to clean.
Trendier options would be platform Chucks or Adidas Sambas. |
| Look at Vionic beach. They are so cute. They come in many colors. I imagine white is one of them. |

I have chucks for this purpose. And while they are more comfortable than many sandals, I still wouldn't want them to be my main walking shoes, because they aren't that supportive. For 2-3 miles at a time, they are fine. But for all day 4+ miles, I'd opt for something else personally.

| I got Van's for this purpose and they turned out to be sooo uncomfortable. |
| I love my sambas. Also Veja. If you want to throw down some real money McQueen has gorgeous ones this season, and Loewe (if you can find them). |
I just wear basic white Nikes for this purpose.

| Maybe Cariuma? I’ve heard they have a supportive insole that would be good for vacation walking. That said, I wear Simple sneakers and Vionic sneakers because I can remove their insoles and put in the ones I wear for the gym which are way more supportive. Doing so allows me to wear these shoes when out walking all day. I bring both pairs, each with the replaced insole on vacations; if I only bring one pair to wear multiple days, my feet hurt by the end of the day. |

Vans cloud soles are more comfortable
For a different look, real rope soled espadrilles (Soludos, etc) I have a pair of Adidas slip ons I like for this |
| Check out Cariuma - better for my feet than flat sneakers like Chucks and Vans |
| Reebok harman |
| New Balance 550s |
