Hostile

Anonymous
Someone at my work is hostile towards me. She is the only one and is a half step above me.

If I go to my-actually our-boss as we report to the same person, what will happen? What kind of fiasco will follow?

Grow up.

What does hostile equate to?

Not everyone at work will like you.
Not everyone will be your friend.
Be professional, do your work.

Unless it is illegal behavior.

Hostile is not illegal. A hostile work environment, which is a high bar to establish, is illegal if it is because of the victim's protected status. OP has not explained what behavior is giving rise to a hostile work environment, and she has not identified what protected class she believes the hostile work place is violating.

Hi OP - what exactly is illegal about it? If it's actually illegal, then, yes, you may have the upper hand in dealing with this. If it's just that she doesn't like you then you are probably stuck. But if she is unprofessional in any way, if you have records of it, you can show this to your supervisor. Ignore people who say there's nothing you can do - there is in some cases.
