I've got
Chantilly -1
Herdon -8
Oakton -3
Westfield -2
Briar -2 (not much knowledge on 5a)
Langley -2 if Lynchburg commit plays and -5 if he doesn't
West po -6
Robinson -3

It's the obvious players coming on here who are annoying ^^^^

It's awesome. They get to call out their psycho parents obsessing over a freakin game with impunity.

Ok child.

No you’re right. Getting into a troll fest with some kids reasonably mocking their embarrassing parents is the grown up thing to do.

Agree with all but Langley, dont think they will win even with lynchburg commit out, without number 8 they are very mid

I don’t know about why everyone thinks #8 on Langley isn’t playing on Tuesday. He had a very non severe injury, I heard he was practicing this weekend.

What’s the thought process on Yorktown being favored?

I do not see how yorktown could win against robo if you shoot on cage the goalie is not saving it.

I heard that Robo's Captain and best attackmen (Lefty #9, thicker kid who is replacing C. Fructoso at L attack) tore his ACL the first week of practice for them.

For a robo team who is already down on the offensive end, its a big hit

#8 for Langley lived on garbage goals against weaker opponents and looks much better in a box score than on film.
No doubt Langley will miss his numbers, but let's not pretend he was good enough to carry the Saxs to a ship.
Our coach designing the system around a player or two every year has to stop. We have too much talent to call a season a loss before the first game is played. Ffs!!

Urbana must be really bad.

You should be the coach

What's valid is the programs who lack a "next teammate up culture" are less resilient. Indy lost 2 significant contributors in the offseason and won't miss a beat.
Injuries are a weak excuse.

The Independence growth and success has been being worked on for years and carefully curated by coaches who have dedicated countless hours on developing talent and a love for the game for over a decade.

Starting in the youth ranks these coaches brought together a group of families that have stuck through things in thick and thin and the results speak for themselves.

The main objective was for the boys to have fun and develop a passion. High school success and college recruiting was secondary but as a result these guys are really talented, being recruited and committed and these families will be life long friends as a result.

No other program in the area has taken this much time and dedication and it shows on the field. I think they'll be around for awhile and rest of area could learn a thing or two about multi year commitments to development. This is why Long Island/New England and Baltimore are "better"

Especially "developing" unsportsmanlike slashing behind the play and cheap shots across the field - especially when they're losing. That kind of leadership from the top can't be bought.
