More than when you were young? |
Sooo much more. Bordering on as much as a went when I was pregnant! |
OMG so much more. Basically whenever I get the chance and at least twice in the night. |
I switched to from teaching elementary to teaching high school a few years ago which is a minor miracle because I swear I need to pee at every class change. |
Does estrogen cream help this? |
same! |
Yes! It very much does. I was peeing every 90 seconds and definitely had urge incontinence until I started estrogen cream. |
Way more. I get up once in the night and go way more during the day. Glad to know it's not just me. |
Omg do not put up with this! Localized estrogen (cream, ring, pill insert) will solve this issue. |
Where does one get estrogen cream? |
A prescription from your GP or gyn. They shouldn’t even need to see you, they should call it in for you. There are no safety issues or contraindications, including for women who actively have cancer. It’s safe for all women and really effective. |
Just be sure to check your blood sugar and A1C to be sure it isn’t type 2 diabetes |
WTAF? Hopefully everyone realizes that they should not take advice from random anonymous wackos like ^^ |
There really aren’t, PP. This isn’t systemic estrogen, where you need to have a convo with your doc about your particularized risks. Localized vaginal estrogen stays in the local tissues. If you want you can look up position statements on localized estrogen with any menopause medical society.
It’s especially important for women who are put into early menopause because of cancer treatments and are having genitourinary issues. |
Everything is dependent on how much I drink. I drink quite a bit to avoid kidney stones. I drink a glass of water at bedtime to ensure I get up in the night to pee- per instructions of my urologist. During the day, I generally pee everytime I get up to walk around, which is hourly. |
