Gas stove under window

| We have a wall with 3 windows facing the water. We were thinking of putting our gas stove there with the hood coming down in front of the windows. Google shows plenty of images like this. Thoughts? We are really struggling where to put our stove because we don’t have options to vent it anywhere else. |

| I'd look at installation requirements, like distance from combustible surface, before deciding. I have an induction cooktop in front of a window, and no issues, but there were installation requirements like 3 inches from wall. Gas may require greater distances. I also didn't find anything in the local codes that prohibited this type of installation for electric, but I don't know about gas. |
