If you go somewhere and order something and after 2-3 times they say they are out of that item, do you wonder if they are just saying that?
Ex: Me: Can I have the blue drink? Cashier: No, we are out of that. Me: Ok, can I have the red drink? Cashier: No, we are out of that too. Me: Ok, can I have the pink drink? Cashier: Sorry. Me: Can I have the purple drink? Cashier: yes, what size? At this point, I wonder if they finally are giving in or were they really out of all of those drinks! |
| That's bad customer service. Decent waitstaff will say "I'm sorry, we're out of Sprite, but would you like 7-Up or ginger ale?" They should be the ones offering an alternative. |
Well that's what I dealt with today, maybe I should just ask what they do have after I'm told no the first time. |
| Does this happen frequently to you? |
|
What in the world are you talking about?
You think restaurants that are fully in stock of an item are telling you they're out because...why? |
| Where did this happen?? |
| Communication is a 2 way street. You could have asked them what they have |
