Medical Leave for Cosmetics

| I will be submitting leave for a medical procedure shortly. I have 200 hours of sick leave and will need to be off for a week or two and possibly telework for another two. I don't plan to share that I am having cosmetic work done, but wonder if the request could be denied if I did share what I am having done. Is there any circumstance where surgery leave can be denied? I am a fed btw. I feel guilty that I will return looking svelte and it will be obvious why I took off. |

| This is actually a good question and I'm glad you asked. I have lost over 140lbs and plan to have a total body make over next year and plan to do the same thing. I will need about 6 weeks off though. I have 240 hours of saved PTO. |
