How are the Saint James sports camps?

It’s quite far for us, but I’m willing to do it if they are exceptional. Specifically interested in soccer.

My daughter did it two years ago and it was terrible. Overcrowded, absent leadership and mean kids.

I've given St. James a lot of chances for different camps and activities - after every time I curse at myself for fooling myself into giving them another chance. The entire facility is just so poorly mismanaged and overcrowded, I'd rather drive twice as far to avoid it.

Same - total dumpster fire again this year.

I would never send kids under 10 there. It was crazy town last year at drop off. My older kid did soccer camp and had a great time. But he was 12 and independent. I felt terrible for all the little ones left there.

The St. James isn't even enjoyable as an adult anymore (like to go workout/hand out). It is insane all the times with a million kids running around. I don't think I would do camp there because I imagine it is much of the same.

When I was considering the camps it was weird because so many of them were only 3-4 days a week - like come on I need a full week camp. Reading these replies, glad I didn't sign the kids up.

Is there a place for parents to stay and work and kind of observe at the same time?

Nearly all of the places there have stands where you can watch from above.
