IVF and feeling put off

Can I rant?? I started egg retrieval over a month ago. Just got embryo testing and we have 1 normal embryo. Then the clinic says they won't schedule me until I redo my sonohistogram. WTAF? I've been waiting weeks for these results and you now tell me to redo it? Why not 4 weeks ago? Isn't that totally unprofessional?

I hear you - the process is frustrating. But if you were like me with zero normal embryos after the process it would not have made sense to do a repeat sonohistogram 4 weeks before finding whether there would be not be any embryos to transfer. Congratulations on your normal embryo!

Thanks. Honestly I'm not excited. I miscarried a normal, male fetus at 15 weeks. No explanation. Doctor's just say bad luck. I feel like this won't solve whatever my issue is.

I'm surprised you have to repeat it now. When did you last do the sonohisto?

Mine was a fresh transfer but they did that at the start of my cycle (like Day 3) and not just before transfer.
