In Search of a PROMPT trained SPL

Hi

Our 4y/o DD has global dyspraxia and we are currently looking for a SPL who is trained in PROMPT, preferrably in Montgomery County. We have tried several therapists in the area, including Innovative Therapy Group in Bethesda but have not been able to find a good fit. If anyone has a great SPL we would appreciate the recommendation.

Children's Speech and Language has offices in Arlington and Springfield. We visited the Arlington office and were very happy with both Danielle, the therapist, and Donna, the director. The progress was just tremendous, and the other parents in the waiting room were very happy. There was even a family that had driven up from Richmond, weekly, for years. Their daughter went from severe apraxia to a conversational level where I could not detect a problem when I talked to her in the waiting room. We also had therapy through the county, but honestly, it seemed worthless.

We've also had a great experience with Children's Speech and Language in Arlington. We've used both Danielle and Kelly and both are fantastic. Our DS has made so much progress with them. All of the therapists there are top notch. I highly recommend them.

All of the therapists at Building Blocks Speech Therapy in Falls Church and DC are PROMPT trained.
