Random question: summer swim league starts

| Does your summer swim league start from blocks or the do they dive from side of pool? My kids dive from side in MCSL and kids swim in 25 meter pool. Is it the same in other leagues and consistent between pools? Just curious. Thanks! |

| NVSL is the same. A friend near Richmond's league uses small blocks. |

| The only time blocks (and touch pads) are used in MCSL is at the coaches long course invitational meet, which is USA Swimming sanctioned. |

There are 25 yard outdoor pools. We swim against several teams with this configuration in our division. |

Our pool is yards one way and meters the other just in case

| In the NVSL there are two yard pools. Holmes Run and Kent Gardens. The rest are meters. |

The league should have a fundraiser for some off-season renovations to extend those pools a few more feet. |
