Finding a Sublet in NYC

My son who just graduated from college has a job in NYC and is looking for a sublet. Looking for a short term at first until his friends all get settled with their jobs. Any recs for 30-90 day stays in Brooklyn or Manhattan? TIA.

NYU rents out dorms for the summer to interns. Reasonable price, safe, and great location. Just Google “Nyu forms interns” or some variation of that. It’s first come first served, so jump on it now if interested. Some schools also have listserves (Princeton does). Good luck to your son!

You may want to consult a real estate agent in the city- they can help with rentals.

My niece and her boyfriend moved to NYC right after high school and started their careers as models and actors. they have found their various places on Craiglist these past 8 years.

Don’t do this if you want a short term rental. I lived in nyc for over a decade and never paid a brokers fee. Such a waste of money, especially for a short term rental.
