Anyone? I like a skill while watching kid taking lessons/practicing with kids

My 4 year old took ice skating class for 2 months recently and I was the one taking her to classes. I am amazed that I could ice skate on my own and help her to ice skate today. The last time I ice skated was 6 months ago, and I could not ice skate at all. I could go forward, go backward a tiny bit and make turns without falling. I think I have been observing what teachers do when my little one took group classes.

I am so proud of myself.

I pay very close attention to whatever lesson I brought my kid to so I can reinforce whatever they're teaching/training on our own time. I don't get parents that sit on their phones ignoring what's going on.

I have to bring an unruly toddler to my older child's lessons, so I can neither pay close attention to the lesson nor be dicking around on my phone.

I was able to follow my kid's violin lesson for the first couple of years, and play like her, on her tiny violin.

And then I couldn't keep up. 10 years later she's playing professional pieces and I'm so proud of her.
