Friends with your child’s preschool teacher

Are you friends as in stop for a little chit chat with your child’s preschool teacher? That would not necessarily include something about your child but just other things?
Are you in touch with your child’s tracher after they have left the school?

Yes, I definitely chitchat with my kids’ daycare teachers. I’m in contact with one out of school because she babysit for us.
