| If the professional internship is in any way relevant to her career goals, then that's the obvious choice. Any professional internship should give her the opportunity to gain professional skills and confidence. Retail usually doesn't provide the same level of professional skills. |
Internship in a corporate setting. Retail can teach skills but it won’t build a resume and those skills can be learned elsewhere. |
