| I am looking at these as options for my middle school student and am curious if anyone has any experience with them. They offer programs in animal sciences, history and government, medicine, etc. Thanks! |

NP Bumping this thread.
My child is participating in an NSLC program this summer at Duke. It's a pay-to-play program, but I see college credit (through American University) is offered, of course, at an additional charge. Can anyone speak to whether this is credit worthwhile? |
| Not recent experience, but I went to International Diplomacy NSLC as a rising senior in summer 2004. It's how i found American University, where I eventually went to for college. I loved the program, and it was great to meet other kids from around the country who were similarly interested in that field (I wanted to join the foreign service at the time). I also worked for NSLC in college (summer 2006) as an office assistant at American. I hope the programs still hold up. |
