| Want to get some for a party? What are the best ones to get? Julia's or are there better ones? |

They come to the farmers market in Burke. So good. |
| La Fonda Paisa off muddy Branch road. The best Columbian empanadas. |
| I like the ones El Patio makes. |
| What empanada do you like? From which country? They are all different. I like Argentinian and Gringo Gordo is the best. |
| The neighborhood farmers markets have some good vendors. |
| Pampas Fox |
|
Empanadas de Mendoza
They have a location In Tyson's 2 mall galleria and in Lorton, and also food trucks. |
|
OP: So no votes for Julia's?
I'm in NW DC so not sure I can drive out to VA to pick them up. How many should I order for about 20-25 people? 2 each? |

Julia's are good but they're huge if that's what you're going for. I like the smaller Argentinian kind but not sure where to get them in DC except for La Buena Empanada in Union Market. Their ham and cheese is amazing. The other flavors are mid. They are way overpriced though.
If you're going with Julia's, I'd get 30. If they are smaller kind, I'd get 3 per person plus sides. |
I really like Julia's, especially the vegetarian ones. But these linked look good, too, and they might come to Columbia Heights? The small ones at the vendor who used to be at Eastern Market (maybe still there, it's been a minute) were not great. |
They deliver and are soooo delish |
