I will be 20 weeks next week and I wanted to share about my easy pregnancy so far. About a year before we TTC, I wanted to prepare my body for pregnancy. I started to take a very high quality supplement ( 8 pills a day), increased my workouts to focus on my core strength and worked with a functional doctor to balance hormones.
I experienced no morning sickness at all during my first trimester and only now am beginning to feel tired and have developed a bump. I think my pre-pregnancy prep may have something to do with it! |
What exactly did you work on with your functional medicine doctor?
Lol
...So what were the supplements?
Op here. I took the full well prenatals. |
Op here. Checking my thyroid and I went on a hormone balancing high healthy fats diet. |
Huh. I did none of that my first pregnancy. Didn't even know I was pregnant until 12 weeks and never had morning sickness either. Come back when the baby is out to share your wisdom because you're only half way there.
This is not a thing. It has to do with hormone levels. You can't prepare your body to produce a certain amount of HCG.
I’m cracking up. Is this your first pregnancy OP?
Lmao
Or you just got lucky.
I disagree - I think women’s bodies react differently to pregnancy and you were never going to get sick.
Hahahahaha, you're cute, OP.
Good for you OP, but thinking that this has anything to do with anything but luck is laughable.
I have no idea why you would go to those lengths before even TTC. I basically woke up one morning at age 30 decided I wanted a baby and got pregnant the next month. No morning sickness, no complications. Don't confuse good fortune with "prep."
