"How much" of the elementary Eureka curriculum does your 4th grader [or other elem grader] get?

I supplement like crazy so my 4th grader at a HRCS is at least exposed to the full range of the grade level math curriculum. To what extent do others experience schools teaching 'just the basics' of a module? are there schools out there that get through the whole grade curriculum, each year?

My kids are slightly younger, but in my experience it's varied enormously even between teachers at the same school. In 1st, they got through like 75% of modules doing like 50% of each one. It was pathetic. But then in 2nd this year, they got through the entire curriculum; the workbooks came home 95% complete (all during the school day; almost nothing came home to do). Second teacher was much better in virtually every respect, so there's that too.

My kids (3rd and 4th) have made it through the curriculum by the PARCC exam each year. They're at a DCPS.

What do you mean by “get”?

I’ve taught Eureka in DCPS for 6 years in two grades and two different schools and every year I’ve gotten through teaching the whole thing (give or take a few lessons we strategically skipped).

Zearn is an exact lesson for lesson version of Eureka. Usually the same problems and everything. If you’re looking for something to cover all of Eureka at home.

Agree, former DCPS teacher here. Zearn mirrors Eureka and is an excellent at home support.
