Foodies - need help with a pickled turkey breast

Anonymous
I bought a pickled turkey breast. How should I cook it? I usually put it in the crock pot with chicken broth and spices but last time it was way too salty bc it was pickled. Any suggestions?

I have never heard of such a thing, pickled?? Like as in cucumbers get pickled? Do you mean brined? If it is brined try roasting it in the oven or on the grill. Or you could just buy an un-brined one for the crock pot.

Rinse it well and massage under water before putting in the crock pot to reduce salt. Maybe use low-sodium broth or just some water with it? I'd cook it in the crock pot or just boil it on the stove for a while until done. Make a turkey rueben with it.
