| Curious how much money your room parent requested for your class party this year? |
| From each parent |
| $10 |
| We only ask for donations of supplies (chips, napkins, etc.) not money |
|
I have kids and 2 different schools.
1 request a voluntary $10 donation at the beginning of the school year for winter and spring party. 1 just request $5 for end of year party as well as donations. |
+1 |
| We don’t have a room parent. No money was collected. The teacher is buying pizza for the class. |
Same. |
| $5 for pizza and treat party. |
| So I think $15 x 28 kids is excessive just confirming that felt like too much money for a party |
Hope you all give that teacher a nice gift card at the end of year. |
|
I think an earlier party was $10 and next week’s is $5. I usually send in supplies and volunteer, too, if all the spots are not taken by the time I open the email.
$15 might not be just for pizza—it could be pizza, plates, napkins, cups, drinks, treat, a craft, wipes, etc… Be sure you volunteer to head things up next year, so you can keep costs real low! |
| $20 but this is for a 6th grade promotion party. I think every other year it just came out of the class fund (which was maybe $50 at the beginning of the year for all expenses over the year). |
| We get a request for around $40 for the year. |
Everyone won't give $15 and you should've donated less if you thought it was excessive. |
