DH and I are terrible aunt/uncle to our beloved nieces and nephews. We're not great with the gifts and cards unless we see them in person. The oldest niece just graduated with her master's degree. Per usual, I got the congrats card but I know I'm not sending it IRL. She's changed apartments and I don't want to hassle her about her new address.
Venmo it is, then. So, "Congrats on your Masters!" is fine? |

Honestly, yes. Your niece doesn’t care of you send her a IRL card or reach out to her virtually, and doing it w/ a Venmo gift is nice.
You’re not a bad aunt - you remembered and thought about her and that’s all anyone wants in life. |
| She’ll be thrilled! |

I think I'm a pretty good aunt, but I also think my niece and nephew are happy with a quick congratulations and some $$$
You're fine on this one. You remembered! |
| Yes, of course. You are doing more than most people would think to do! |
| Why don’t you send a quick text with a fun gif or meme as well? I’m sure venmo is appreciated! |
| What is the "going rate" these days? I have a high school graduation (nephew). When I graduated it was $100. -NP |
| We do $50 for elementary school, $100 for middle school, $150 for HS, and I guess it will be $200 for college. |
