Hi - We are wondering if there are any reputable pet-sitting swap coops for dogs/cats/small animals in north Arlington? We have a very small dog that is a rescue, so we're trying to find an affordable way to keep her out of kennels and in our home, and we are wondering if others might want to trade swap petsitting. bgreen1102 at gmail.
You create one with a couple of friends with dogs. We call it a dog share, but are in Maryland.
Just beware of what you are getting into. I did this with a neighbor for our cats. I ended up having to feed and inject meds into her two cats twice a day for 16 straight days over the holidays. I only needed her once, for four days. I ended that arrangement.

Yeah OP, it's hard to find someone with the same level of dogs (work wise) and travel schedule/frequency. When we tried to do it, we'd both travel for winter break, or I got a 2nd dog and she didn't, and then it was just too hard.
I love the idea, but it's easier to just go on rover and hire someone to take the dog into their home or stay in yours. |
It will never be even, either you’ll do more work or your friends will. It’s easier for the friendship to hire someone.
