Conviction of 16 year old in Alexandria stabbing murder

16 year-old Ryan Joseph Vega was convicted of murder today for the 2022 stabbing death of Luis Mejia Hernandez. He was tried as an adult.

Luis had an amazingly bright future ahead of him, but Vega cut that short. Such a senseless waste of a life!

All the press coverage mentions the gangs in Alexandria. The city council and pd can keep denying that gangs are rampant in the schools but they look like fools.

The police chief can’t even acknowledge that there are gangs and uses euphemisms and talks around it.

Of course the root cause, if there was a problem, is that certain communities don’t have enough barbecues.

Calling gangs "crews" solved the gang problem in the middle schools and high school. Whew!
