Scuba in August?

| We have teenagers that want to take their scuba open water diver certificates to the next level. I would love some ideas for super nice locations in August where the instruction is excellent and the underwater wildlife is fabulous. I know August is tricky for this so would love to hear from experienced divers. The nicer the hotel the better. |

Your options are limitless. Do you want something in the continental US? Then SE Florida can't be beat. Stay in Palm Beach and use one of the many dive shops in the area. Caribbean? Little Cayman, Curaçao and Bonaire. Mexico? Cozumel. More adventure? Philippines, Indonesia or Thailand.
Your question is really too broad. It would be helpful if you narrowed it a bit. |

We finished our certification in the grenadines. Fabulous dive sites. We chartered a boat but lots of nice resorts too.
Also had a great dive experience in Turks and Caicos. You can stay at the Aman there and they come to you. |

| Australia but make sure your teens are old enough by Aussie rules, which are older than US I believe. Great time of year for GBR. |
