| My winter work look involves a lot of dresses with black tights. In summer I'd like to just not wear the tights, but I get really cold with the AC in my building set far lower than in my home (like to the point of fingers and toes going numb, I think I probably have Raynaud's). Are black tights a really weird look in summer? If so, what's a good simple alternative for dresses? My workplace isn't that formal, sheer nylons would be weird. Thanks! |
| I used to work in a frigid office and I would wear tights in the summer. I also left a throw blanket and a shawl at my desk to put on while I was working. |

Yes
Bring a blanket |
| I get pretty cold in the AC at work so I wear pants and maxi dresses in the summer when I’m in the office. Could you wear maxi or midi dresses with leggings underneath? You could wear cropped leggings if you don’t want them to peek out under your skirt. |
| Just no to black tights in the summer. Wear pants if you have to. |

I'd wear more of a nude tights instead of black.
Bring a large heating pad with an extension cord to the office. Either sit on it or cover your legs with it. |
| I wear nylons and keep a blanket at my desk. If anyone know where figure skaters get their skin-color tights, please share! |
| A long dress or skirt |
| It is a very strange look, particularly in the swamp that is DC in the summer. |
