Please! Help me get to work!

Anonymous
I live in Springfield. Take 395s to (I think) Washington Blvd (the part that runs directly in front of the Pentagon)
to Memorial bridge, to 23rd, and up 23rd (to Gw hospital) where I work (hotel on the other side of the circle).
Lately it takes SO long to get down wash blvd. There are signs saying WB Ohio is closed for construction, so I
guess this is it, but it took me an insane amt of time to get to work today. Can someone recommend a better way? Thanks!

You could take the exit before the memorial bridge one, 7B maybe? It will take you onto Wash Blvd heading towards Clarendon. You can pick up 50 and take that into DC (you join up with 66). But 50 can get backed up too. What time are you going in?

I leave my house at 7:45/8. (Timing isn't perfect, but I care for my sick mother and have to wait for adult daycare to come and pick her up.)

Ohio Drive is under construction. All the folks who used to cross Memorial Bridge and then loop under it onto Ohio Drive westbound can no longer do that. I am guessing that has messed up your commute.

I'd suggest taking Roosevelt Bridge (I-66 / Rt. 50). I live in DC and hate driving in NOVA, so I'm not great with specific directions.

Play with Google Maps a bit and see where you'd end up on the DC side of the bridge.

Thanks PPs. Does anybody have any idea how long the construction is supposed to last?
