The Black Country Living Museum! It was so cool! My kids loved it and so did I. They have very different personalities when it comes to travel and they both has a blast, which was such a relief.
I am sure a lot of castles are like this, but Tamworth Castle was great and I highly recommend it or a place like it. There are a lot of interactive things that are great for kids like holding a medieval shield and doing a sword fight and lying on a bed to that is held up by ropes that you tighten (so you can sleep tight). It was so fun! |

WB Harry Potter Tour Hyde park - Princess Diana park British museum of natural history Outside of London, there's a lot. Jurassic Coast Tank museum - there are mini tanks the kids can get into and drive around. Super fun for my then 8 yr old DS. |
