Please recommend great sticky buns/ cinnamon rolls/ pecan rolls. Not underbaked or too fluffy.

Bonus for pecans or walnuts.

All in Europe. I like cinnabon also but I ask them to skip the frosting.
I get Trader Joe one's and add cinnamon/butter/sugar mix.

Bakers and Baristas had THE BEST before they closed (pandemic). If anyone knows where those same can be found currently my family would love to know!

OP- just tried Desserts by Gerard in Oxon Hill, MD
Very nice product, but with additional fruit and a hint of almond, was fancier than I was seeking on this day. It was a full blown, flaky layered pastry. Plentiful pecans, though.

For anyone interested in this French bakery, they have limited hours and google is wrong; call first.
Recommend the bakery and will continue cinnamon bun quest.

Just thinking about their sticky buns makes my mouth water.

My kids like the cinnamon rolls at Bayou Bakery but say they're not as good as mine. (And this is why my kids are allowed to sleep indoors and get regular meals )

I might have been the OP; can’t remember.
Just went to Best Buns in Springfield and the pastries were basic supermarket quality. The cinnamon roll bread/pastry was generic junk, though the sugar nut topping tasted OK.

Breakfast sandwiches were soggy, greasy and too salty. Did they sell to someone else? Expanding to fast food? Is the Shirlington store this bad now too? Not going back.

Any other updates on fresh, truly good cinnamon rolls?
