Does leftover chicken shawarma freeze well?

I personally don't freeze any meat that has been cooked unless it's part of a dish with a high moisture content like soups, stews, chili or casseroles. Unless it's a ridiculously fatty cut, reheating after freezing will dry it out and the texture can be off.

Can you incorporate the leftovers into some kind of soup? Bonus if you also have leftover veggies to use!
