| What’s your kid’s favorite toy these days? I need inspiration to avoid the Amazon bestseller list. |
| My sons 4.5 now but last year he loved magna tiles (still does), legos, and those enormous hotwheels garages (still enjoys all of those things.) Outdoor toys: water table, rocket launcher, scooter, and those motorcycle bikes with three wheels. |
|
The stomp rocket launcher (i think this is what the PP Is referring to as well) is a huge hit for that age group.
There are little kids on our block from ages 2 to 5 and they all love it and can use it (the rockets just fly farther with the 5 year old). |
| Sticks and rocks |
| My 3.5yo likes any kind of coloring toy (recent hit: little toy cats and dogs you can color with markers, wash, and color again but honestly any new coloring book and crayons/markers would do), magnatiles, books, blocks, playground balls (crocodile creek is a good brand), her little brother’s busy board, her balance bike, and making forts/slides/trains with our chairs and blanket and pillows (I think they make toddler-specific furniture for this if the family has space and the parents don’t want their own stuff to be constantly repurposed and destroyed). |

| Magnatiles and our Brio train set (kids are boys). The wheel additions to the magnatiles have been huge hits. We have a bunch of them now. |
