You can't obtain the Albanian currency outside of the country so just plan on doing one big ATM withdrawl once there. Keep in mind things are quite cheap there! |

Definitely not. PP and found it more expensive than Prague and Budapest and on point with Florence and Madrid, specifically for groceries |

Lake Ohrid, along the Albanian-Macedonian border, is very beautiful.
But this part of the Balkans is an unusual place for a honeymoon, and I hope that the two of you are seasoned travelers in not-so-easy areas. |

| Our favorites: Herceg Novi, Kotor , Perast, Our Lady of the Rocks, hike Ladder of Kotor, Castle of San Giovanni… all amazing. |

| We spent a few days last summer at the Kotor Bay Hyatt and loved it -- Kotor Bay is gorgeous and the hotel is really nice for the price point. |
