Would it give you pause?
It's an ID4 if that matters. |
| I would want to know the reason for the current owner selling. |
| Why 2 owners? |
|
Hard pass.
If a car has had 2 owners in 2 years there is an issue or it's a crappy car to dive. |
I was thinking that, too. For whatever reason, it has not lived up to owner expectations. |
What is an ID4. |
| Run away from this vehicle. Avoid. |
|
I wouldn't risk it. One owner wouldn't phase me because so many people these days like to upgrade their vehicles often -- they buy a brand new car, finance it, and then the minute they are bored or just want new again, they trade-in for another new car.
But 2 owners means that the second one bought it used and then was ready to get rid of if within a year or two. That's unusual. People who buy used cars usually do so to save money, and tend to drive them for longer. |

I am the hard pass poster and I want to add that I have a coworker who has this car and loves it/walks about it all the time so that leads me to believe even more so that this is an issue with this particular vehicle.
I also have a friend who recent bout a used car with low miles/a good deal only to find out it has an issue with the moonroof and the thing floods every time it rains. Dealership has struggles to repair it. |
| Eh, my husband bought a car from a friend who won the car. He won the car, drove it for a few months, hated it, sold it. Two owners in a short amount of time. I would at least ask for an explanation. |
+1. hard pass |
But did your husband try to sell it within a year? That is what the OP is talking about it. Not one person that sold within a year, but two. |
