best place to buy appliances?

Upcoming kitchen Reno in august - thinking of rebuying appliances now. What's the best site/store to buy to get on Memorial Day savings? Not looking at high end appliances (Wolf/Sub-Zero etc) so any Wirecutter recommended or around is good with us.

Op here - budget is around 10-11k; looking at buying 36" gas range, standard fridge, microwave drawer and hood. Already have dishwasher (Bosch 800).

We’ve had holiday sale luck a couple times with Bray & Scarff in Tysons — but I know they get slot of DCUM hate.

There's a reason Bray and Scarff gets a lot of hate. THEY. ARE. TERRIBLE.

Op here - went to Bray & Scraff - good grief the sales pressure on us to buy drove us out. Obviously GE is making only 30 cafes in the nation right now and I could have one if only I shell out 6k right away! No thanks.

I just ordered from Lowes and it went very smoothly. I knew what I wanted so don't know if they would provide as much help selecting a model as a smaller store.

We just bought appliances and went with a mix: range from Lowe’s, refrigerator from Best Buy, hood and microwave from M and M. M and M was great for sales customer service and they stored our hood in their warehouse until we were ready to install it. Best Buy had slightly better delivery than Lowe’s but both were fine. We went with whoever had what we wanted in stock for a good price and could deliver when we needed it.
