I want to try some new places. The last places I visited were Pappa’s and G & M near Baltimore.

Isn’t that place miles north of Baltimore?

Oceanaire. It's not even close. I love to hate on downtown overrated spots but Oceanaire crab cakes are legit.

Oddly my 2nd best experience was at Quarterdeck in Rosslyn, totally different vibe

The Point Crab House and Grill in Arnold Maryland has very good crab cakes and fries. It’s open air and on the water. About an hour away but worth checking out IMO. The last time I had a crabcake at Coastal Flats it was very good but the was a few years ago.

+1 for Clyde’s or it’s sister restaurant Old Ebbitt.

I also like the crab cakes at Hank’s.

Carlyle as in the one in Shirlington? If yes, wouldn't that translate into all GAR restaurants since they have similar menus?
