Moving within FCPS this summer

If we move to a different AAP center this summer before school starts, our kid should be able to attend the new center school right? I assume so but wanted to check if anyone else has had similar experience.

I am asking because the AAp decision email reads “ The placement you accept will be effective for the start of the fall semester, August 21, 2023. All placement commitments are for the full academic year. Due to impacts to school staffing, the commitment you make as of May 5, 2023, cannot be changed for one academic year”

Center school decision will be based on your new address. New home new center school

Agree - the qualifying statement of "cannot be changed for one academic year" is on the basis that you still reside at your existing address. If you move, you can go to either the local school or the center school designated for your new address.
