Quiet coffee place in upper NW to sit and write?

I need to get myself out of the house and completely away from family demands for a 2-3 hours the next couple of days to finish a project. Where's quiet and welcoming to laptop users who buy a capuccino or several and a snack and settle in for a bit? I'm in upper NW west of the park and don't want to schlep too far from home.
