| Yes. |
| mini skirts and halter tops, old skin just looks bad |
| My DD art teacher had on Bobby socks (without the lace) or what some people call them turn-cuff socks with leggings one day. |

If you have great legs, it seems a shame to shun mini skirts at any age. I still wear them in my 40s, though usually only in winter with opaque tights. Not because I don't want people to see my legs, but because I don't want to risk accidentally flashing someone. But opaque black tights with a short skirt is such a cute look and I can't imagine why it would be limited to younger people.
Crop tops... how cropped? I wouldn't wear a t-shirt cropped right under the bust, but I would wear a shirt cropped to the waist with pants or a skirt that fit at the waist. I'd also wear one of those formal matched sets where the top is cropped and in the same fabric as the skirt/pants, so it exposes a sliver of midriff but usually no more than that. I find Mary Janes childish and wouldn't wear them over the age of 12, personally. I don't know what bobby socks are. |

Crop tops are a young style and look silly on women with kids.
I did see an older woman on a date with her husband recently and the older woman rocked the mini, because she had great legs. For the most part, if you rock it, why not? I do think that age appropriate is not wearing trends you wore "the first time around" fashion-wise; or not wearing what your daughter is wearing. I think that looks silly, and looks like you think you are 16, when you are 40+. So, as long as you are not trying too hard..... |
| My doctor wore Mary Janes to one of my appointments. She often wears short skirts and she's early 50s at most. |
