We rarely have leftovers around longer than midnight. I can’t seems to keep enough food in my house that doesn’t require cooking. what staples to you keep around for hungry teens to feed themselves?
I always have fruit, bread, slice turkey, yogurt, cottage cheese, tuna, veggies, cereal. Help!

Nuts, kind bars, cheese sticks...ask them what they want you to have on hand.

I have the first two, will ask about the frozen stuff. I’m starting to think my kids are unrealistic as to what we can have around. One kid would rather walk to McDonalds before making anything himself. He works so it’s his $, I’m not paying for that.

Buy Hawaiian Rolls or small dinner rolls in a package. Assemble individual sandwiches with deli turkey, ham etc. Wrap individually, mark and place in a bin. Kids can add mayo/mustard when they pack. My friend taught me this trick which I used in the summertime when my kids were working summer jobs at all different times.
