Food, Cooking, and Restaurants
| thanks for recommendations for a restaurant with nice salad options-- |
|
Are you looking for a sit-down place with salads and other things? Or "salad places"? If it's the latter:
Chop't Sweetgreen Both are good. |
| I like Breadline for salads...Persian Chicken Salad...mmmm. Be sure to ask for some dressing on the side. There's also a newish place called Mixt Greens on F St between 14th and 13th. Haven't been but I've heard good things |
| Chop't is better than Mix't Greens. I love Chop't - I swear they must put something addictive in the dressings. |
|
Pain Quotidien.
Chicken cobb. |
| This is technically in Bethesda but just at the corner right above DC. Right by American Law campus there is a Chicken Out, they have a chopped salad option, like choose your stuff just like Chop't we are addicted. |
| Vapiano (spelling?) on 18th Street makes a great salad. |
No - it is not Bethesda. It is in NW DC. The Maryland line is at Western - about 3/4 of a mile away. |
| Okay no need to be a cranky wench 8:30 |
| Brown Bag! |
|
Personally, I think Chop't is gross.
I like the salad at Moez. |
Well la di dah. Rock on with your Chop't hating self. |
| I don't get the big deal about Chop't either. I've eaten there twice and maybe I'm getting the wrong thing, but it tastes like a McDonald's salad or something. And you don't even get a piece of cracker bread like at Cosi! |
I love Chop't. The Po' Boy salad with the Spa ranch (low fat) is yummy. Get one of their signature salads... don't create your own. And you do get two pieces of their tortilla type bread (at least at the one on Connecticut). |
| I'm surprised no one has mentioned Devon & Blakely? I'm addicted to their roasted garlic & red wine vinegar salad dressing! And their lettuce always looks fresh. |
