When searching for flights, it gives you a lower price to start with. Then when you select what you actually want, like nonstop flights, whether you want to choose the seating, etc. the price goes up. So I paid more to get to select my seats. When I clicked submit to book it, it said the seats were not confirmed and I needed to visit the airline website to complete the seat selection. So I go to the airline website, and for the most important flight where I have a connection and wanted seating closer to the front, they moved the seats back like 10 rows. I had paid an extra $140 to choose my seats on the other website, and now the airline wants me to pay another $57 to re-choose the same seats I already paid for that it shows on my receipt. How is this fair? If you choose a free seat like a middle seat so you can all sit together, it's almost as if you made no selection at all and they just move all of you to the back of the plane as if you didn't pay at all.
